I wasn't sure what to expect, but when the package arrived, and I tried it on, my first thought was that I'm excited to take it on our next beach trip. I love the pockets, something that had been sorely lacking in most swim cover ups that I've seen. The material may also work better when I put it back on after coming out of the pool because it's much like using a towel. The only thing that could make it even better is coming in a different color or perhaps a pattern, but I'm very happy with this cover up.

The zipper, pockets and hood make the product very functional. It is a good choice for anyone that prefers more of a robe style vs an over the head dress style cover-up after swimming or on vacation.The reason for the 4 stars is that the material if very thin an only somewhat soft. When I think of terry cloth I often think of a relative thick and soft material. It's not bad or scratchy, just not overly soft. I'd say this seems a bit thin and cheap given a price of over $30. Although it's great to be lightweight and quick drying, just a bit thicker or softer would make this 5 stars in my mind.

perfect beach cover up

This black terry cloth cover up is the perfect weight and texture for a cover up. It affords a comfortable loose fit without being frumpy. It washes well, true to size and dries easily. Definitely recommend for a beach or pool cover up.

Just what I needed for the gym

Our gym is undergoing renovation, so we have to exit the pool and walk briefly through the gym to reach the changing room. I needed a quick robe to throw on top of my swimsuit to get there. The Terry cloth material is a towel that wicks excess water from my body.The size fits perfectly, and it isn't too heavy to wear. I wish it were longer (a bit too short for just wearing alone), maybe to my knees, but I will wrap a towel around my waist for that extra coverage. Overall, it is just what is advertised, I may sew something to the bottom.
